Having a mobile optimized website might affect your search rankings
Recently I read an article about Google sending warning notifications to websites that are not mobile-friendly.
In the email, it says “fix mobile usability issues found on these pages … So that these pages will be “displayed and ranked appropriately for smartphone users.”
These are all signs that Google will be adjusting their ranking system to include mobile devices now.
Do you know that back in 2013, Google used to give penalty to websites that have broken mobile sites?
As website owners, we all want to please Google because it brings about 70% of traffic to our website.
We won’t want to risk getting penalties from Google because we don’t have a mobile-friendly website.
